Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Saphire of
Sharon, Mass., are very happy to
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Laura Alexis, to
Mark Paul Breyer, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Allan Breyer of West Bloom-
field.
Miss Saphire earned a bach-
elor of arts degree in political sci-
ence and Spanish at Boston

University. Mr. Breyer earned a
degree in political science at it
Michigan State University.
Laura Alexis and Mark have
recently completed their studie
at Syracuse University in Nei,'
York. They are studying for their
bar exams in Phoenix, Ariz.,
where they now reside.
A June wedding is planned.

ried recently at Temple Israel.
Rabbi M. Robert Syme and Can-
tor Harold Orbach of Temple Is-
rael officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Diane and Marvin Fishman of
Farmington Hills. The groom is
the son of Ms. Sylvia Bienstock
of Southfield.
Carolyn Fox-Krafsur was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Kim Bienstock, Katie Bullinger,

Jennifer Linde and Josi-Ryke-
Fishman. The best man was
Karl Pradel. Groomsmen were
Scott Carrick, Brian Fishman,
Steven Fishman and Scott Her-
skovitz. Grandparents Mrs. Mil-
dren Erdos, Mrs. Rena Fishman,
Mrs. Frances Kleemann, and
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bienstock
also participated in the ceremo-
ny.
Following a honeymoon in
Cancun, the couple are residing
in Farmington.
