The music of Shakespeare's time
will be brought to life Sunday,
Jan. 14, when Anne and Rob
Burns Entertain the Temple
Beth El Middle Years Group.
The 1 p.m. program will feature
this husband and wife duo,
known as "A Reasonable Fac-
simile," in arrangements of bal-
lads and dance tunes played on
an assortment of Renaissance in-
struments including four-course
guitar, dulcimer, recorders and
fifes.
Longtime early music per-
formers, the duo has been heard
at many Renaissance Festivals
as well as at the Detroit Institute
of Arts Brunch with Bach Series.
The program, open to the com-
munity without charge, will be
preceded by cake and coffee at
12:30 p.m. No reservations are
necessary.
On Tuesday, Jan. 16, seniors
will concentrate on present and
future plans when Lynn Robert-
son of Blue Cross/Blue Shield
discusses "Trouble Free Trav-
el" with the Temple Beth El Beth
Elders. The noon luncheon/lec-
ture program is open to the com-
munity, but reservations are
necessary and there is a charge.
