executive director, assumes responsibility for the JCC's day-to-
day operations and is given the title of associate executive direc-
tor.
Center hours are changed. Doors open at 5:30 a.m. weekdays in-
stead of 6 a.m.
Subcommittees form to examine what revenue producing services
can be added, how to make better use of volunteers, customer re-
lations, sales and marketing, and to understand the demograph-
ics of membership structure.
Marketing director Sandi Kline is hired.

Bruce Landgarten ends 12 years of
service at the Center. The assistant ex-
ecutive director said he felt he had done
everything professionally possible to im-
pact the JCC and had plans to venture
into the business world.
• Center officials begin executing ideas
from a 28-page marketing plan designed
to breathe new life into the agency.
July 1995
Leah Ann Kleinfeldt receives her second
promotion in four months, becoming execu-
tive director. Adult Services Director Margo
Weitzer and Cultural Arts Director Chris
Lewis receive promotions to agency executive
positions. Ms. Weitzer becomes director of
JCC programming, and Ms. Lewis assumes
the role of director of operations.

Marketing director Sandi Kline quits after
six months. Ms. Kline said she is used to be-
ing in a corporate environment and "working
in a nonprofit agency really doesn't fit my per-
sonality." After the marketing plan was im-
plemented, Ms. Klinefelt it was appropriate
to leave.
