Don't Blink: There's something treacherous about taking pictures of more than one
person at a time. Invariably, someone blinks. It's either that guy on the right. Or the
woman on the left. Or, maybe, the kid in the middle started screaming just as the
shutter opened and closed. But here, dear friends, we've got the toothy grins of some
very compliant victims: Sherry Shanbom, Dr. Steven Shanbom, Bert Green (bet you
never heard of him before) and Elsa Silverman. On Dec. 5, they were part and parcel
of the Sinai Friends meeting to attract young adult volunteers to Michigan's only
Jewish hospital.
