Concert Cancellations
And Additions

F

or those of you who missed
out on the sold-out Alanis
Morissette show recently
at the State Theatre, more
bad news. The just-announced
Feb. 18 show at Hill Auditorium
has been canceled. All tickets will
be refunded at your point of pur-
chase.
New Year's Eve at the Fox
Theatre finds a reconfiguration
of musical talent. The Blues
Show, featuring Solomon Burke,
Betty Wright, Denise LaSalle
and Willie Clayton, has been can-
celed and will be replaced with
the Al Green show. All tickets
for the Blues Show will be hon-
ored at the Al Green perfor-
mance, or refunds will be given

at place of purchase prior to
showtime.
But don't sing the blues just
yet. The Magic Bag Theatre will
be holding its Deep Freeze Blues
Festival Jan. 5-7 with Big Dad-
dy Kinsey & the Kinsey Report,
Lucky Peterson, Eddie Shaw and
the Wolfgang plus 12 Detroit
Blues bands. A three-day pass is

Fest in an upcoming JN Enter-
tainment feature.
George Carlin, along with
special guest Dennis Blair, will
perform at the Palace at 8 p.m.
