Bruce Weiss of Farmington Hills
And actor John Larroquette

"I used to work in the jewelry business, and whenever
I'd walk in the door they'd say, 'Hi, John!"

Fern Adelstein
of Southfield
And singer Bette Midler

Alan Muskovitz•cit . W
And actor Jason Alexan

Mr. Muskovitz recently won seqw i la in a Jason A144.
look-alike contest in Chicago. He eve the actor'ss*0
humor (the reason he didn't win the'contest has to do wig
height). "I hear it so much that I always beat
.:„ people to t
punch. Before they can say anything I tee to
know.' "

"No one has stopped me on thiet.
street for my autograph, but
everyone I meet asks me if I
know who I look like when I
smile. I guess I'm a dead ringer
for Bette Midler.
"I teach school in Oak Park,
and when I meet my new par-
ents for the first time, they al-
ways do a double take, and
mention that I look like Bette.
When I took my son to a
restaurant in Chicago about
seven years ago, the waiter
asked, 'Do you know who you
look like?' and before I could
answer, he said, Bette Midler's
mother.' I thought about walk-
in.g out."

Eric Chupack, formerly of Southfield,
now of Cleveland
And actor Tom Cruise

"When I was younger I had a job working as a busboy, and one of
the dishwashers used to call me 'Top Gun,' " he says.
Nobody is stopping Mr. Chupack these days to ask for his auto-
graph (he laughs at the very idea of it), but maybe it has to do with
the hair. About a year ago, Mr. Chupack changed the way he combed
his locks, resulting in a much less Tom Crui s e-looking style. "I'm go-
ing low profile," he explains.

Richard Schwartz
of West Bloomfield
And actor Gene
Hackman
in Unforgiven

"It first happened 25 years ago
when I was flying back from Las
Vegas. The stewardess was con-
vinced I was Gene Hackman,
though she assured me I was bet-
ter looking and younger.
"A lot of people look at me and
then say, Wow I know why you
look familiar.'
"I don't know about looking
straight on, but I've seen both Our
profiles and they could be exact."
