Have 'The Time Of Your T ife'
At The Theatre Company

f you've always wanted to see the Pulitzer Prize-win-
ning play The Time of Your Life, you only have this
weekend to catch the performance at the University
of Detroit Mercy Theatre Company.
Set in San Francisco in 1939, The Time of Your Life takes
place in a waterfront saloon, complete with a group of ec-
centric unfortunates who strive for better lives, but are un-
sure as to how to go about getting them. An evening of
libations and emotions ensues as the characters seek ulti-
mate fulfillment and happiness.
Playwright William Saroyan said about his play: "In the
time of your life, live — so that in that good time there shall
be no ugliness or death for yourself or for any life your life
touches. In the time of your life, live — so that in that won-
drous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the
world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of
it.
Now in its 25th anniversary season, the University of De-
troit Mercy Theatre Company features a cast of local vet-
eran actors including Arthur J. Beer, Mary F. Bremer and
Harry Wetzel. Directed by David L. Regal, The Time of Your
Life runs through Dec. 17. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thurs-
day, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are
$10 reserved and $8 for senior citizens and students. For
