at the annual Christmas Day

B'nai B'rith Basketball League
has included several women play-
ers over the last few years.
The league is seeking addi-
tional players — both men and
women — for its 21st season,
which will be played at South-
field-Lathrup High School.
Teams are assigned to three di-
visions based on their competi-
tive level.
All players must be B'nai
B'rith members. For information,

month.

A sophomore, Farber finished
21st in the 50-yard freestyle
(25.57) and 27th in the 100 back-
stroke (1:02.80). She also swam
a leg on North's 200 medley re-
lay team, which included Nevra
Alver, Kristen Burk and Amy
Finkel, and finished 21st in
1:55.80.
Farber was named North's
most valuable swimmer and best
all-around swimmer.
