TO THE FAMILY OF IRVING M. HERMELIN
The officers and staff of State of Israel Bonds extend their deep and sincere
condolences to our International Chairman, David B. Hermelin, on the
death of his beloved father, Irving M. Hermelin.
A noted philanthropist and longtime supporter of Israel, Irving Hermelin 's
deep commitment to the Jewish homeland helped to define the lives of his
children, their children and their children's children. Together with his late,
devoted wife, Florence Shiffman Hermelin, he was honored by the Israel
Bonds organization and other organizations dedicated to the Jewish people
and Israel.
Irving Hermelin will be sorely missed by those who were privileged to know
and love him, and by the countless others who were touched by his warmth,
his generosity and his genuine and exemplary Jewish life.
The Israel Bonds organization extends its profound sympathy to David and
Doreen Hermelin, to Dr. Milton and Lois Shiffman, to Roger and Terran
Shiffman Leemis, to Henrietta Hermelin Weinberg, to Irving's grandchildren
and great-grandchildren, and to all of the members of his extended and
beloved family.
