center.

The Chanukah Activity Cen-
1: ter, featuring the famous Dreidel
House and other fun and educa-
tional programs for children, is
opening next week at the Or-
chard Mall.
Located in the center of the
mall, the center will be open Sun-
% day, Dec. 17, through Sunday,
Dec. 24. Hours are Sunday, 11
a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday through
Thursday, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Fri-
day, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The mall is
located at the northeast corner of
Orchard Lake and Maple roads
in West Bloomfield.
A focal point will be the Drei-
del House, a brightly colored
booth shaped like a dreidel, which
will display the history of the hol-
iday. Children will be greeted by
"Judah the Maccabee" and will
be able to have their picture tak-
en with Judah.
Activities will include games,
crafts and Chanukah quizzes.
Each child will receive a
Chanukah gift pack with a drei-
del and candy.
The program is sponsored by
the Ganeinu Education Center.
