Men's Club members will conduct the Shabbat morn- ing service. Men's Club President Jeffrey Supowit will deliver the sermon. A kiddush in honor of the men will follow. Stuart Logan is chair- ing this year's program. Jewish educators are invited to attend a Creativity Night at the Agency for Jewish Education. The workshop, "Celebrating Shabbat: Making a Palace in Time," is scheduled for Thurs- day, Dec. 14, 7-9 p.m., with an optional dinner at 6:15 p.m. Par- ticipants will explore classical Jewish sources and contempo- rary understandings in order to invigorate personal approaches to Shabbat. Teachers will also learn ways to use these insights to enrich their classrooms. Hands-on Shabbat projects will be shared and created. The workshop will be pre- sented by Rabbi Stuart Seltzer, director of the Chizuk Amuno Religious School in Baltimore. Rabbi Seltzer has developed and implemented numerous Jewish educators programs which have served as models for communi- ties throughout North America. The Creativity Night is part of the Agency for Jewish Educa- tion's NIRIM Professional En- richment Program for Jewish Education and is open to educa- tors of all grades. Teachers en- rolled in NIRIM will receive two units for participation. Anyone interested in attending should sign up with their school direc- tor. The workshop is free of charge.
