the World

A Report on the U.N.'s World Con-
ference on Women

Hear the fascinating experi-
ence of Fern Katz, National
Council of Jewish Women dele-
gate to the U.N.'s 4th World
Conference on Women. Held in
September in Beijing, China,
thousands of delegates from all
over the world, gathered to dis-
cuss many issues ranging from
health to human rights. Ms. Katz
participated as both an observer
and a presenter. She will speak
about the issues that were dis-
cussed, as well as her own pre-
sentation. She will also talk
about China and its controver-
sial role as a host country.
This program will take place
on Monday, December 4 at 1:00
p.m., in the Maple/Drake build-
ing, West Bloomfield. The cost is
members: $1.50, non-members:
$2.50, Health Club members are

$20 per person
A player must be a current Center Member, or 1995 JCC League
participant
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, December 27, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee must
accompany entry form, phone entries will only be taken with a charge
card guarantee. There will be no refunds on phone entries. Once the
draw is made there will be no refunds issued.
The tournament will be played on 5 racquetball courts. All participants

Schedule:
before 4:00 p.m. to receive their first round starting times.
All matches will be two games to 15 points, tie-breaker to 11 points.
Matches:
AARA rules apply. Ten minute warm-ups will be enforced. A fifteen
minute default rule will be in effect.
Trophies will be awarded to the champion in each division.
