for 56 years. He was a life
member of the Million Dollar
Round Table, life leader for 17
years and former president of
the Independent Insurance
Agents of Indianapolis.
Mr. Cohen served as regional
chairman of the National Con-
ference of Christians and Jews
from which he received a Broth-
erhood Award; he also received
an OiAtsatnding Contribution
Award from the White House
Conference on Small Business.
He was the beloved husband
of the late Lucille Borinstein
Cohen; father of the late Susan
Jane Cohen. He is survived by
his wife, Sylvia Sable Cohen;
daughters, Donna Nelson of In-
dianopolis, Nancy Deutsch of
Rock Isaln, Ill., Eva Cooper-
smith of Bloomfield Hills; nine
grandchildren. Services were at
the Hebrew Congregation; in-
terment at Indianapolis He-

MAN, 53, of New York, died
Nov. 26. Mr. Freedman was a
mass communications teacher
who lectured and traveled ex-
tensively on ships, speaking on
a variety of topics. Although he
did not graduate, he attended
rabbinical school and led ser-
vices at B'nai Olom on Fire Is-
land.
