logue company which ex-
clusively focuses on
Jewish giftware and
household items has been
launched. According to Stuart
Greenberg, president of Jazzy Ju-
daica, the catalogue fills a void for
Jewish families offering unique
items that are not typically avail-
able through synagogue gift and
specialty stores. The catalogue
was created to offer a limited
number of attractive Jewish gifts
and affordable everyday items
that can be ordered directly from
the individual's home.

The company has announced
that 5 percent of purchases made
by consumers requesting Jazzy
Judaica's Chanukah catalogue
will be donated to the Family Vi-
olence Project of the Jewish Fam-
ily Service of Los Angeles.
The LA-based organization re-
cently opened Tamar House, the
first transitional home for sur-
vivors of domestic violence and
their children. A maximum do-
nation of $5 per individual will be
made.

port in the fight. The Wellness-
wear line consists of designs that
cover ties, scarves, chinaware,
cards and the "Wellnessbear."
The Wellness products, focus-

be available through Saks Fifth
Avenue, Dayton-Hudson's,
Neiman Marcus and other fine

Antiques For
Gift Giving
he Community House in
Birmingham will open its
second annual Holiday An-
tiques Show 6-9 p.m. Tues-
day, Dec. 5. Tickets for this
preview night are S30 and include
light hors d'oeuvres and a cash
bar.
The show will continue
Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 6
and 7. Show hours are 10 a.m.-8
p.m. on Wednesday and 10 a.m.-
5 p.m. on Thursday. Show tickets
are $5. A boutique with unique
holiday items will be open
throughout the show. Two hours
of free validated parking will be
available. A cafe will be open be-
tween 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on
Wednesday and between 11 a.m.
and 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Thirty-two dealers from nine
states will have a selection of an-
tique furniture, porcelain, silver,
jewelry, Majolica, Quimper, pat-
tern glass, quilts, linen, prints,
toys, reference books and lamps.
The Community House is a
nonprofit organization that offers
educational, social and cultural
programs, child care, employment
assistance, meeting rooms, ban-
quet and catering services and
group travel activities. The House
is located at 380 South Bates in
downtown Birmingham. ❑
