Hosts Exhibit
The Ferndale Stamp Club will
host a stamp exhibition and
hourse at the Oak Park Commu-
nity Center, 14300 Oak Park
Blvd., in Oak Park, on Saturday,
Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and
on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
All are welcome to this free
event. Free stamps will be given
to young stamp collectors. The
United States Postal Service will
be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
each day for stamp purchases.
Stamps and special philatelic
material wil lbe exhibited by the
members of the Ferndale Stamp
Club. A show cover will be for sale
at the door for $1.25 each. The col-
ored cacheted cover depicts the
Nuclear Bomb blast with the
Enola Gay and Instrument of
Surrender in the background and
will be franked with the 1995
series World War II stamps.
Dealers from several states
and from Canada will be present
to help the collectors.
