The Wizard of Oz on Ice brings

its $9 million production to Detroit
for eight performances, and runs
through Nov. 19.
It's the classic story of Dorothy
and her dog Toto as they take the
memorable journey down the Yel-

low Brick Road.
It's the first live presentation on
ice of The Wizard of Oz, and musi-
cal genius Bobby McFerrin provides
the singing and speaking voices of
all 36 characters. Dorothy, howev-
er, is the only exception.
Tickets for The Wizard of Oz on
Ice are on sale at the JLA box office
and all Ticketmaster locations. ❑
