tion will have an information

Oakland Center.
At Oakland University, Part 3
of the Science and Religion Series
will be Thursday, Nov. 16, in Oak-
land Center Fireside Lounge at
noon. The topic is Scientific and
Theological Revolutions."

Machon Events
On Campus

Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz will
lead a program on the Michigan
State University campus on
Monday, Nov. 13. The program
will take place in the Hillel, 402
Linden, at 6:30 p.m. The discus-
sion will be titled "Life With A
Destination — How To Turn a
Lemon into Lemonade." A deli
dinner will be served. There is

Machon LTorah also will hold
lunch-time mini-conference pro-
gram in conjunction with the
Jewish Law Student Association
of University of Michigan on
Tuesday, Nov. 14, noon. The top-
ic will be "Abortion, Kevorkian,
and Judaism," led by Rabbi Ja-
cobovitz. The program will be
held at the Lawyers Club. There
is no charge. For information and

In addition, Machon will hold
an educational evening in Mount
Pleasant at the Bovee Student
Center on campus. This event will
take place on Wednesday, Nov.
15, at 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Jacobovitz

Sets Calendar

United Jewish Appeal will spon-
sor a Russian Shabbat Dinner
on Friday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. at
U-M Hillel (following Shabbat
services). Reservations are re-

On Sunday, Nov. 12 from 8-10
p.m. at Hillel, join Tom Starks for

"Is Middle Eastern Peace
Compatible with Environmen-

Appeals (UJA) Movie Night at
MSU Hillel on Thursday, Nov.

food, movies, and an informa-
tional session on how to get in-
volved with the UJA.
