Mike Dembs Rates Videos Batman Forever- I have a theory about these Batman movies: They are cyclical enigmas. Huh? Allow me to explain. When first we hear of a new Batman movie, it's usually the summer be- fore it's released and all the buzz is about what villain is going to be re-created and what actor is lucky enough to play the part (i.e. Robin Williams was at one point interested in 3ONE5 playing the Riddler). Then after Christmas the coming attraction hits the theaters and rumor has it that some people actually pay to get into a the- ater just to see the trailer (I don't think I want to be in an ele- vator with these peo- ple). Box office records are det- onated in the first week, and by Week 3 nobody much cares any- What's hot at Barnes & Noble, more. Several months later the Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield video release is announced (usu- ally at the price where, if you act now, you receive an ice crusher).
