The Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion will continue its Literary
Journeys series, a bi-weekly dis-
cussion group handling the ideas
and themes of short story Jew-
ish literature. The next session
will be held on Thursday, Nov.
9, and will feature, "I Stand Here
Ironing," by Tillie Olsen.
The group will continue on
Thursday, Nov. 30, with "Bridg-
ing," by Max Apple; Thursday,
Dec. 7, for "The Name," by Aha-
ran Megged; and Grace Paley's,
"A Subject of Childhood" on
Thursday, Dec. 14. All sessions
are held from 7:30-9 p.m. in the
Agency for Jewish education Li-
brary. Copies of the stories will
be provided for all participants.
There is no charge for Liter-
