First Alliance Mortgage Com-
pany has relocated its head-
quarters from Bloomfield Hills
to Bingham Farms to accommo-
date a growing staff. The com-
pany is owned by David J. Blatt,
former co-owner of a West
Bloomfield-based Century 21
real estate office.

The Berline Group, an adver-
tising and public relations firm,
has relocated its offices from
Bingham Farms to Bloomfield
Hills. The company is now lo-
cated at 6001 N. Adams Road.

$30 Million
For Ornet

Jerusalem — Telecommunica-
tions leader Siemens of Germany
will acquire Karmiel-based Or-
net and its US-based subsidiary
for a reported $30 million,
Siemens announced.
The acquisition was made by
Siemens' Network Systems di-
vision.
Ornet specializes in new gen-
eration-switching technologies
for LAN networks.
Under the terms of the pur-
chase agreement, Ornet will con-
tinue to operate as an
independent company in terms
of development, production mar-
keting and sales.
Ornet will expand its work-
force from its current level of 40
employees.
A small Siemens management
team will act as a contact group
with Ornet. Siemens will coop-
erate with Ornet on technologies,
marketing and sales and market
Ornet products through its glob-
al sales network.
