Services Noted
For Older Adults

The LeVine Institute on Aging,
the educational division of the
Jewish Home for Aged, has
printed a free brochure of pro-
grams and services available to
Jewish adults in the Detroit met-
ropolitan area.
The pamphlet was recently
displayed at an open house re-
ception for the LeVine Institute,
located at the Fleisch-
man/Blumberg Plaza. Included
in the pamphlet are details
where older adults can receive
programs and services available
through constituent agencies of
the Jewish Federation of Met-
ropolitan Detroit. Some of the
services include: adult day care,
assisted living, case manage-
ment, financial assistance, hous-
ing relocation, kosher meal
program, respite care, skilled
nursing services and trans-
portation.
The LeVine Institute is dedi-
cated to improving the lives of
older citizens through education,
training and research. It is
named in memory of David M.
and Frieda G. LeVine, and sons
Saul and Dan.
For a copy of the free brochure
or details about the LeVine In-
stitute, call Sandy Boykansky,
(810) 661-2999.
