ter Mittenthal were married re-
cently at the Park Avenue
Synagogue in New York City. El-
yse is the daughter of Meryl
Slater and Dr. Leonard Slater,
both of Long Island. Jim is the
son of Edie Slotkin and Stuart
Mittenthal, both of Bloomfield
Hills. ' •
Attending the couple were
Robyn Slater, sister of the bride,
maid of honor; and Robert B. Mit-
tenthal, brother of the groom,
best man. Other attendants were
Jan Rosen, sister of the groom;
Ian Slater, brother of the bride;
Jamie Frank; Lori Levine; Lisa
Miller, Lisa Paige; Dr. Neal Kras-
nick; David Rosen; Michael Ru-
biner and Howard Simon.
Also taking part in the pro-
cessional were Diane Mittenthal,
Donald Slotkin, Leah Zimmeth,
grandmother of the bride, and
Bert Groner, grandmother of the
groom.
Elyse is a vice president of
Smith Barney and Jim is a tech-
nology consultant for law firms
and corporate legal departments
for Baker Robbins in New York
City.
The couple honeymooned in
Tortola and reside in Greenwich
Village.
