Getting Into The
Halloween Mood

umpkins, costumes and candy
must mean it's almost Hal-
loween.
On this weekend before the
trick-or-treat holiday, several area Hal-
loween parties, functions, and pumpkin
carvings are in the making.
West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation
is hosting a pumpkin decorating fest. It's
Saturday morning at the Sugar Tree
Shopping Center in West Bloomfield.
Upland Hills Farm is another pre-Hal-
loween hot spot. The Oxford farm plays
host to a pumpkin festival on Saturday
and Sunday.
Other weekend events include a
haunted museum at the Detroit Science
Center, a Halloween and Costume Ball
at the Holiday Inn in Farmington and
Halloween Havoc at Joe Louis Arena.
