Edna Green, 87, of Southfield,
died Oct. 23. Mrs. Green was
born in Russia and for more
than 80 years resided in De-
troit.
She was a member and past
president of the Women's Aux-
iliary of Alpha Omega Dental
Fraternity, Detroit District
Dental Society and Michigan
Dental Association. Her com-
munity involvements also in-
cluded being a member of the
Federation of Women's Club,
Detroit Beautiful, Women's
City Club, League of Jewish
Women, National Council of
Jewish Women, Roundtable of
Christians and Jews, Greater Edna Green
Detroit Motion Picture Club.
Her interest in helping others led her to become
an active fund-raiser for the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign as well as collecting boxes for the Jewish

National Fund. She was a

Mrs. Green was the beloved
wife of the late Dr. Henry
Green and loving sister of sev-
