HATE. STARVATION. MURDER. WAR.
POVERTY POLLUTION. CHILD ABUSE.
RAPE DISEASE. HOMELESSNESS.
WHOEVER SAID
PLAGUES WERE A THING
OF THE
PAST?With your help, they won't need to be
part of our future. At the second-annual Social Action Day, you and more than 30 social
service agencies will do something essential—make a difference. From 1 - 4 pm at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Community Center, speakers and workshops will inspire you to
fight hunger and abuse. A magic show will teach your children about the environ
ment. And volunteer opportunities will abound. All you need for admission is
a can of food or a new children's book. So please, bring your entire family
on Sunday, October 29th. With your presence alone, you'll be wiping out
the worst plague of all: indifference.
