Israel Bonds Honors Liepmans The Congregation of Moses Men's Club and the Kalamazoo Com- mittee for State of Israel Bonds will host a breakfast reception in honor of Ruth and Werner Liep- man Sunday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. at the synagogue, 2501 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo. The Liep- mans will receive the Jerusalem City of Peace Award for their ded- ication to the Jewish community and State of Israel. Noted expert on Israel and the Middle East Lt. Col. (res.) Gil Elan will be the guest speaker. Ruth and Werner Liepman have been active with Israel Bonds for many years. The Liep- mans have been longtime sup- porters of the United Jewish Appeal, B'nai B'rith and Hadas- sah. Ruth and Werner estab- lished the Liepman Early Childhood Development Fund at the Congregation of Moses and have been members of the Sis- terhood and Men's Club respec- tively for many years.
