in the world as the new ENCORE
series thrills the metropolitan De-
troit area. Straight from Off-Broad-
way, Avi Hoffman performs a new
Yiddish musical revue, "Too Jew-
ish?" featuring nostalgia, song,
comedy, and cultural social histo-
ry on Saturday, November 11 at
8:00 p.m. New England Klezmer
Conservatory Band performs Jan-
uary 13 at 8:00 p.m. Gemini offers
a Tu B'Shevat family concert
blending laughter, fun, song and
togetherness on Sunday, January
28 at 2:00 p.m. Voice of the Turtle
introduces folk music from
Sephardic cultures to the commu-
nity on Sunday, March 24 at 8:00
p.m. The New York Times de-
clares, "This powerfully expres-



sive repertory will leave no one
unmoved." The season concludes
with a celebration of Jerusalem
3000 as Israel's hottest rising star,
Gitit Shoval debuts in our com-
munity in a concert for all ages.
This show will take place on Sun-
day, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets
are now on sale at the Adult and
Family Enrichment Department
Maple/Drake building for all per-
formances.
