Dear Friends and Members of Our Community:

At this special time of year, each of us reflects upon the way we live, and examines ways in
which we can enrich our lives during the coming year.

We often set personal goals which may include: enhancing our relationships with family
and friends, taking strides to improve our physical health and well being, and growing
spiritually by performing Mitzvot.

One of our most beautiful traditions is to perform acts of loving kindness.

Yad Ezra is our community Kosher food pantry. Its purpose is to provide supplemental help
in making sure that Jewish families in our community have enough food to eat. Many of us
are not aware that Yad Ezra provides supplemental food assistance for over 1,000 families
per month.

Most of us have never had to wait in a line to obtain our basic foods, or had to worry about
where our next meal would come from. We've never gone to bed hungry.

I am asking each of you to start the New Year off in a wonderful way by offering your
financial assistance to Yad Ezra. Your donation will help our community continue to provide
this greatly needed service.

Please join my family and me in supporting this very important effort by Yad Ezra so that all
Jewish families in our area will be able to live with the pride and dignity they deserve.

Have a Happy and Sweet Year.

Sincerely,

IkA6(421(A.
