winter, she plays in an 18-and-un-
der girls' travel league.
Frankford also lifts weights at
least twice a week and practices
at the West Bloomfield Jewish
Community Center. In addition,
\-) she works out with West Bloom-
( field High School's junior varsity
boys team.
Frankford is a member of Tem-
ple Israel's youth group and of
B'nai B'rith Youth Organization.
Last year, she was president of
Savage BBG.
Frankford would really like to
/) be recognized as an All-League
player this season. She hopes to
play college basketball as well.
Frankford has a 3.0 G.P.A. and is
interested in becoming a sports
physician.
QUOTE: "Basketball has taught me
a lot about teamwork and disci-
pline. Without the sport, I would
; not have as much self-confidence
and believe in myself as much as
I do," Frankford said. "Aside from
my basketball achievements, the
sport has also provided me with a
great many close friends."
