Book Sale

The Friends of the Huntington
Woody Library will hold a used
book sale on Saturday, Oct. 7,
from 10 am.-3 p.m. at the library,
26415 Scotia in Huntington
Woods. All proceeds benefit the
Huntington Woods Library.

Opera Lovers
Programs Set

The Southfield Public Library
will sponsor two Friday afternoon
programs, Oct. 20 and Oct. 27, at
1 p.m. in the Marcotte Room of
the library. The programs consist
of a lecture and an opera movie.
On Oct. 20, Dr. Wallace Peace
will present a program on La
Traviata and the MOT's fall
schedule.
On Oct. 27, the opera movie La
Traviata, starring Beverly Sills,
Henry Price and Richard Fred-
ericks, will be shown.
The public is invited to these
free programs.
The Southfield Public Library
is located in the Southfield Civic
Center at 26000 Evergreen, be-
tween Ten and Eleven Mile
