1995 Theodore and Mina
Bargman Scholar. Rabbi Syme
will speak at Shabbat services,
Friday evening, Sept. 29, at 8
p.m. at the temple on "A Vision
for Judaism for the 21st Centu-
ry
In addition to his current po-
sition, Rabbi Syme serves as vice
president of the American Zion-
ist Youth Movement and as di-
rector at large of the board of the
Jewish National Fund, board
member of the United Israel Ap-
peal and vice president of the
American Zionist Movement.
The community is invited to

Temple Israel
Support Group

Temple Israel will hold a support
and social group for the physical-
ly challenged-mobility impaired.
This seven-week group is de-
signed for participants to come to-
gether to meet one another and
discuss issues of mutual concern.
The group will meet Tuesdays, at
7 p.m. on Sept. 19; Oct. 10, 24;
Nov. 7, 28; December 5, 9, at the
temple.
The group will be facilitated by
,Barbara Bockoff and Anita
Haenick.
