Campus Activities
In Metro Detroit

Oakland University Jewish Stu-
dents Organization/Hillel will co-
sponsor a year-long seminar on
"Science Vs. Religion" with CIPO
and the Campus Ministries.
The first seminar will be
Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Oakland
Center Lounge Two at noon.The
topic is "Creation and the Be-
ginnings."
The Hillel Kosher Cafe (Lo-
cated at Wayne State Hillel, 667
Student Center Building) will
participate in World Food Day
Thursday, Oct. 12. Seven percent
of the cafe's gross receipts will be
donated to help feed the hungry
in Michigan. The cafe is open
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hillel of Metro Detroit Bas-
ketball Night will be Wednesday,
Sept. 18, at the Lawrence Tech-
nological University Field House
from 9 to 11 p.m. All young
adults are welcome.

Hadassah will sponsor a Yiddish
Conversation Group under the
leadership of Alva Dworkin
which will meet in the Hadassah
House, 5030 Orchard Lake Road,
West Bloomfield on Mondays
from 10:30 until noon from Oct.
2 through December.
There is a fee to defray ex-

of its book discussion group on
