Four Operas
On The Air
Beginning on Sept. 30, Michigan
Opera Theatre (MOT) will be fea-
tured on Detroit's classical radio
station, WQRS-FM 105.1, for
nine consecutive Saturday after-
noon. The broadcasts consist of
two series, "A Season of Master-
pieces," the broadcasting of
Michigan Opera Theatre's
1994/95 season productions; and
the "MOT Showcase," the annu-
al preview of MOT's upcoming
season offerings.
All broadcasts begin at 2 p.m.
The four productions featured
are: Puccini's Madame Butter-
fly which airs on Sept. 30,
Donizetti's The Daughter of the
Regiment on Oct. 7; Mozart's Don
Giovanni airs on Oct. 14, and
Tosca, on Oct. 21.
Musketeers
On Stage
Meadow Brook Theatre will open
its 30th season with The Three
Musketeers Sept. 20 - Oct. 15
