anie Keywell, of West Bloom-
field, explains her involvement
in Forgotten Harvest.
Along with her husband Fred,
she learned about this agency
that collects and donates perish-
able surplus food to kitchens and
shelters from the Social Action
Committee at Temple Israel.

"I asked to go along with the
driver one day, and we went to
Capuchin Community Center
and Detroit Rescue Center. I was
really touched by
the spirit of
giving," said Mrs.
Keywell.
Mr. and Mrs.
Keywell attended
the recent Early
Gifts Committee
meeting at the
home of Janet
and Edward
Mardigian with
guest speaker
Mitch Albom.
More than 50 pa-
trons attended the event, which
announced Comedy Night IV, to
be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14,
at the Fisher Theatre. The
evening will feature the Smoth-
ers Brothers. Stephanie and
Fred Keywell and Marcy and
Dan Staley are benefit chair-
men, while Amy Cutler and
Jan Nash are committee chair-
men of Comedy Night.

cently performed for the fifth an-
nual "Friendraiser" for the
Michigan Board of the Anti-

Defamation League. More than
200 guests, including 40 spon-
sors, attended the event at Tam
O'Shanter. Marcia and Roger
Fenton were honorary chair-
men, while the co-chairmen were
Patti and Steve Tapper and
Judi and Brad Schram.
