CRUISE FOR THE CURE

The Oakland region of the
Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer
Institute recently hosted the sec-
ond annual Cruise for the Cure.
More than 100 guests enjoyed
a summer evening sailing Lake
St. Clair on the yacht Infinity.
Deanna Weisman and
Shelly Rubenstein were the
chairmen. Some of the support-
ers included: Michael and
Robin Fenberg, Morton and
Harriet Freedman, Joseph
and Anita Lipson, Shelly and
Paul Rubenstein, Dorie and
Marvin Shwedel, Nate Willis
and Sally Kott.

nounced two major fund-raisers.
The fifth annual Steppin' Out
AIDS 5K Walk and Run will be
held Saturday, Sept. 16, in down-
