Dr. Gilbert Herman was re-

Dr. Herman received his medical
degree from Wayne State Uni-

1981. He began his medical ca-

department of laboratory medi-
cine. In 1987, he was appointed
associate chairman.
Within the last three years, Dr.
Herman has presented four na-
tional teleconferences from Sinai
Hospital. He also is the medical
director of Histopathology Asso-

professional affiliations include
the American College of Health-
care Executives, the Society of

administration degree from Duke
University and a bachelor's de-
gree from Brown University.

Dr. Gabriel Levi, formerly of
Oak Park, now of New York City,
has been appointed to the posi-
tion of attending staff pathologist
at Maimonides Hospital in Brook-
lyn, N.Y. Dr. Levi completed a fel-
lowship in surgical pathology at
Sloan Kettering Memorial Hos-
pital in Manhattan. Prior to that,
he concluded a residency program
at Mt. Sinai Hospital of New
