Your children need more than lessons in Jewish history and traditions to face the complex, ever-changing world they'll face as adult Jews. Their Jewish educational experience should build character by using our rich past to focus their youthful energies and shape their changing attitudes today so they can meet tomorrow as confident, caring, responsible and responsive Jews. We believe children need a total religious education and experience that is based on more than rote recitations. That is why Congregation Shir Tikvah's pace-setting, award-winning family-oriented educational program this year is based on the word "mitzvah," but goes one step further. The word why has been added; why, as Jews, we have rules of ethical behavior, why we are expected to do good deeds, why we visit the sick, why we must preserve the earth and why we must have compassion for those less fortunate. A good religious school experience is not an expense. It's an investment in your children's future as Jews. Come visit us. Drop in anytime, but especially on Sunday, September 10 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Roeper School on Woodward, South of Square Lake Road in Bloomfield Hills. Meet and talk with our staff. Talk to our students. Attend a class. Experience family education. Then decide. As the old Yiddish proverb says, "dividends from your children are the most precious investment." 7,7i Congregation r im, I Shir Tikavah I Bloomfield•Keego Resale Shop Frank Beckmann WANTED: Men's & Women's DESIGNER CLOTHING 3425 Orchard Lake Rd., Keego Harbor (At Commerce Rd.)
