oak. Packing stations feature marble tops,
and there are hidden hampers and built-in
dressers. "I make all my closets look like
stores," says Winton-Feinberg. A' hidden
door takes one to the office, or down to the
exercise room.
Upstairs are three bedrooms for the
owners' three sons. The youngest's fea-
tures a safari of large stuffed animals. A
four-poster iron bed is covered in a black
and tan animal print. Across from the bed
is a black-ash armoire with inset mar-
quetry detailing by Accurate Wood-
working in Waterford. Mirrored closets
are finished in a polyurethaned cherry-
wood. The bath, of Paradiso brown mar-
ble, features a bronze and black
animal-print wallpaper. The middle son's
black and brown room has a fully-uphol-
stered sleigh bed with a black-ash trim.
It is covered in a black and camel fabric
quilted with lots of throw pillows. A black
walnut desk has a mahogany granite top
with black granite inset. The wall unit,
also by Accurate Woodworking, is walnut
with stepped walnut detailing.

The kitchen
features
a black
granite floor.
The oldest son, a Batman fan, has a room
featuring Warner Brothers' Batman cels
above the maple and black granite-topped
desk. A matching wall unit and night stands
were created by Accurate Woodworking.
An iron sleigh bed features fabric woven in
a camel and platinum stripe.
"The lower level has no windows. It's
like a womb," says Winton-Feinberg.
"With its wood-horizontal reveal and cus-
tom furniture, this could be someone's main
floor."
The lower level features a massive 20-
foot media center of bird's eye maple with
a one-inch black reveal that goes through-
out the entire 54 x 40-foot room. In front
of the media center are sofas, chairs and
chaises in a black and cream weave with
black tassel fringe. Four glass-topped iron
end tables anchor the seating space. The
