A writ- ing table custom made in black-ash features tapered legs and a floating glass top resting on bronze cubes. Its chairs are upholstered in the camel and black leaf pattern. The kitchen, designed by Kitchen Stu- dio of Birmingham, features a black gran- ite floor. Two islands, one with a cooktop, the other a work station, are of Sardinian granite and stand out against the white polyurethane cabinets. Five Jasper Johns lithographs and a painter's proof add a unique visual diversion for the cook. In the octagonal nook off the kitchen is a 7-foot round glass-top table on a circular platinum base. Eight fully upholstered arm chairs feature a woven black, white and .gray flo- ral tapestry. The windows of the room look out on the back decks, pool and spa. A seven-car garage houses a collection of antique Ferraris, a Lamborghini, Ford Co- bra and Bugatti. The floors are hand-paint- ed in black and white like a checkered flag, and beneath each car is its logo painted on the floor. On the wall hang handwoven rugs by Patrick Collins representing the cars. Beyond the foyer and the great room, up six steps, is the master suite. Alabaster sconces hang outside the French doors. A ecru wool carpet in a chevron pattern in- vites one in. The walls are marbleized. A king-sized upholstered sleigh bed fea- tures rolled-arm tufting in a cream silk satin tone-on-tone feather pattern, on the head- board and footboard. A quilted spread is in a matching fabric. A wall unit in an ivory crackle finish with columnar gold leaf handles, designed by Winton-Feinberg with Vogue Furniture, hides the TV. Brass and glass console ta- bles act as night tables, and feature Water- ford lamps with ivory shades, antique picture frames and Venetian glass obelisks. A writing table in Vanilla marble on a cream iron base with gold leaf accents reside with two Louis XVI chairs. The master bath features cream-colored marble. Above the spa tub is a custom mo- torized blind with a remote. The glass-en- closed shower features a rain bar and four body sprays. A separate room houses a toi- let and bidet.
