The old-style cinnabar brick exterior is neoclassical with a French
influence. The entranceway features a fountain and bronze lions
on limestone bases. Magnificent lush landscaping by Great Oaks
Landscaping of Novi harmonizes with the architecture. The front
door is part of a huge two-story Palladian window which is mirrored
at the back of the home.
The grand foyer, 18 x 23 feet with a 26-foot high ceiling, imme-
diately sets the tone of the house. Flanking each side of the foyer
are 5-foot-long Regency rolled-arm benches in a black crackle and
gold-leaf finish that are upholstered in black silk-satin with gray
doves.
In the center of the foyer is a Bolae frosted-glass base table with
gold-leaf accents and a beveled-glass top. A suspended staircase
in black lacquer and brass features bent glass. The floors through-
out the house are Absolute black granite.
To the left of the foyer is the home office, with black and bronze
striped silk walls and a custom Stark rug in black, taupe, ecru, gold,
cinnabar and bronze. The elegant bronze silk draperies with black
trim cascade and puddle to the floor at the bay window. A large 5-
foot-square coffee table, in the Regency Directoire style, features

The playroom mural is by James Labadic. The miniature table and animal
chairs are from the Sandra Collins Gallery. The custom bar and entertainment
center designed by Susan Winton-Feinberg is perfect for entertaining. The
garage houses a 1992 Ferrari F40 and 1965 Ford Cobra. The landscaping, pool,
terrace and deck are by Gary Roberts of Great Oak Landscaping.
