OUR RETAIL R OUNDUP BY CARLA SCHVVARTZ

hob- - cnobbinc

Colorful cabochons and faceted crystals sound like
jewelry terms, but these components are part of de-
signer Susan Goldstick's knobs. Goldstick, a South-
field High School and University of Michigan
graduate who now resides in San Francisco, creates
these artistic accessories. She uses lustrous metals,
amethyst, jade and crystals, which give her knobs a
jewel-like quality. The knobs add the finishing
touch to cabinets, drapery rods, bed posts and doors.
Clients can select their own color combination for
these unique knobs at Bellissima, a home-decor
store in downtown Rochester.

Merchandise available at
Bellissima, Rochester.

radio flyer

Thanks to West Bloomfield artist El Castor, the latest trend is putting a red Radio
Flyer wagon in your living room. Castor turns the wagon into a decorative table by
filling it with objects and covering the top with glass. Her coffee-table wagon is
filled with coffee cups and coffee beans, while her Oriental table features rice and
Chinese food. She even has
a table for the bedroom filled
with sexual paraphernalia.
People and Cosmopolitan mag-
azines have contacted her
about her work. Celebrities,
like rock star Eddie Van
Halen, are ordering her cre-
ations.

red hot

Fashion designer Gianni
