Detroiter of Deerfield Beach,
Fla., died Aug. 15. Mrs. Jaffee
was the beloved wife of the late
Irving Jaffee and the loving
mother of the late Beverly Gos-

BETTY R. KAPLAN, 85, for-
mer Detroiter of Encino, Calif.,
died Aug. 12. She is survived by

BETTY KATZ, 82, of South-
field, died Aug. 17. She was the
wife of the late Samuel Katz.
She is survived by her son and

ert of Thornhill, Ontario;

ALFRED I. KLAVONS, 79, of
Oak Park, died Aug. 15. He was
the beloved brother of the late
Charles Klavons and Ruth
Kieran. He is survived by his

ington Hills; brothers and sis-
ters-in-law, David and Marion
