Melody Musicale
Summer Concert

The Melody Musicale Ensemble,
under the direction of Louise
Lazarus, will present the annu-
al summer concert at 2 p.m. Sun-
day, August 20 at 4836 Faircourt
Drive, West Bloomfield.
Vocal soloists will be Florence
Malach, Shirley Frost, Rachel
Kapen, Sandy Isser, Irma Pasick,
Galina Feldman, Yaffa Mogha-
dam, Ann Wohl, Louise Lazarus,
and Sonia Kitain. Guest soloists
will be tenor Gene Slobin; Eve-
lyn Berger will play violin pieces;
Yeva Khaykin will play the
bayan. Concert pianist-accom-
panist will be Zelda Keil Miller.
Musical selections will consist
of popular ballads, musical
comedy, Yiddish and Hebrew
melodies and operatic arias. Ruth
Handleman will act as narrator.
The Kozadayev and Kitain fam-
ilies will sing, play the piano and
flute.
A dairy dinner will follow the
concert. There is a charge. For

At Mall

Puppeteer/songstress Maureen
Schiffman and her puppet pal
Coco will perform 'The Animal
Fair" at the Wonderland Mall,
Livonia on Aug. 10 at 11 a.m. and
