Dr. and Mrs. Sheldon Kapen of
West Bloomfield are happy to an-
nounce the engagement of their
son, Dr. Ehud Hovav "Udi"
Kapen, to Debra Dana Schloss,
daughter of Abraham Block and
Barbara Mills of Bowie, Md.
Dr. Ehud Kapen graduated
from the University of Michigan
where he was a pre-med student.
He recently graduated from
Wayne State Medical School and
is a pediatric resident at Chil-
dren's Hospital of Michigan in
Detroit.
Debra attended the Universi-
ty of Maryland, San Diego State
University, and graduated from
Hillcrest Nursing School. She
was most recently manager of
Nutri-System, Southfield.
An October wedding is
planned at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek B'nai Israel Cen-
ter in West Bloomfield.
