THOSE SALAMIS every cou-
ple received on the Miracle Mis-

cartons and given out ... Every
one was initially hung to dry ...
The "Es Gesunderheit" greeting
and salamis were from Doreen
and David Hermelin and Star
Deli's Rose and Sid Neuman.
LIKE NIGHT and day ... the
record business and restaurant
game ... They may both be en-
tertainment, says community-ite

They're still talking about that
Cream of Michigan article writ-
ten a short while back by Eliza-
beth Applebaum in The Jewish
News ... Jack Surnow calls from
Palms Springs, Calif., and Arthur
Sweet comes roaring into the of-
fice ... both stating that the pic-
ture was wrong ... "The Cream"
never had a bar, and where were
the Pingree side booths? ... Liz
says the picture was from Detroit
Public Library's Burton Histor-

We were out of town at the
time, but understand that
Manuel Chavez really put on a
doozy for the 10th anniversary
celebration of Ristorante de Mod-
esta in Market Street on North-
western ... Those aren't the
original Darbys recipes people
can get via mail ... Gimmick used

Zack.
Roy and Barbara Feinberg re-
cently visiting the Detroit locale
and looking up Avery and Mari-

something used to wear at her
wedding years back ...
Name of catering hall opening
around October on Drake by Big
