Petoskey Temple
Welcomes Intern

Temple B'nai Israel in Petoskey
has a rabbinic intern, Yael
Splansky, who will serve the con-
gregation through the summer.
She will hold regular Shabbat
services each Friday evening at
8 p.m. with greeting time at 7:45
p.m. An oneg will follow the ser-
vices. Ms. Splansky also will con-
tinue to serve B'nai Israel on a
monthly week-end basis through
the winter months.
Ms. Splansky comes from He-
brew Union College, Cincinnati,
where she is a third year student
in the rabbinic graduate pro-
gram. She will be ordained in
1998 as a fourth generation
Reform rabbi.
