one year before the program reg-
istration date or someone whose
parents live in the town.
The build-your-own-apart-
ment project divides individuals
into four groups. The first group
includes caravan residents living
in the town and defined as town
residents. The group also in-
cludes couples married for more
than 10 years, individuals living
in Israel for 10 years, single-par-
ent families, and other people
with more than 2,000 points in
their teudat zakaut. Group A
candidates are required to pay
11 percent of the cost of the land.
About 50 percent of all the pro-
gram's apartments are allocated
to this group.
Group B includes young cou-
ples who are local residents and
have 1,600 - 1,900 points in their
teudat zakaut. About 25 percent
of the apartments in the program
go to this group, which is re-
quired to pay 51 percent of the
cost of the land.
Group C includes other local
residents who are entitled to 25
percent of the apartments in-
cluded in the program, at 91 per-
cent of the cost of the land.
The fourth group consists of
people who are not local resi-
dents.
Apartments are allocated to
this group only if there is a sur-
plus of apartments left from the
other groups.
In the near future, Rishon
Lezion is expected to publish a
program which will include 388

apartments, Ra'anana 432, and
Petah Tikva 200. Planned are
programs for 200 apartments in
Tel Aviv, 76 in Herzliya, 78 in
Haifa, and 200 in Netanya.
C Holdings Neut Tzur devel-
opment in Petah Tikva was
awarded the Petah Tikva 1994
beautiful house certificate of ex-
cellence. The certificate was
awarded for the design of the de-
velopment's 46 semi-detached
houses and 160 apartments.
Half of the apartments will be
included in eight apartment
buildings with the remainder ii
the Tzur tower building. The
apartment buildings include un-
derground parking, an all-pur-
pose party room and an indoor
swimming pool for the use of the
residents. The price of a four-
room apartment is about
$204,000 while five-room apart-
ments are available for about
$226,000.
Luki Development and Build-
ing has sold 90 of the 114 hous-
es available in the Ahuzat
Kramim neighborhood in
Karmiel. The company is con-
structing three- and four-room
garden apartments, and three-
room apartments with balconies.
Apartment prices start at
$85,000.
Solomon has started con-
struction of the Ramon Ha'ir de-
velopment in the 13th quarter in
Ashdod. Upon completion, the de-
velopment will include 135 apart-
ments situated in five terraced
buildings. ❑
