Veterans. She tutored children
of migrant workers in the Flori-
da public schools and was a
court-appointed children's
rights advocate. She is survived
by her daughters and sons-in-

Farmington Hills, died July 6.
Mr. Stein was vice president of
Giffels Accoc. Inc, an architec-
tural firm in Southfield. He was
founder of the Metropolitan
Youth Symphony and a meme-
br of the National Society of
Professional Engineers. He is
survived by his wife, Sharon;
sons, Kenneth L., Kevin D.,
Daniel J., all of Farmington
Hills; brother and sister-in-law,
Norman and Andrea of Califor-
nia; mother-in-law, Sylvia Gar-
land; brother-in-law and sister-
in-law, Howard and Sylvia
Garland. Services were held at
Clover Hill Park Cemetery
Chapel in Birmingham, fol-
lowed by interment at the ceme-
tery. Contributions may be
made to the Jewish Hospice of
S.E. Michigan, 16250 North-

LOLA J. WEINBERG, of Roy-
al Oak Township, died July 7.
Mrs. Weinberg was a U.S. gov-
ernment clerk. She is survived

YETTA "HEDY' WINTER-
MAN, 69, of Las Vegas, died
July 9. She is survived by her
husband, Harold; daughters,
Lynette Fulbright, Margot; sons,
Robert and Craig; brother,
Melvin Platman of Encino,
Calif.; Aubrey Platman of Troy;
two grandchildren.

GOLDA WISSOTZKY, 89, of
Southfield, died July 6. Mrs.
Wissotzky was the beloved wife
of the late Mathew Wissotzky
and the loving mother of the late
Leo Wissotzky. She is survived
by her son and daughter-in-law,
Michael and Rita of Southfield;
grandchildren, Elina and Daniel
Costello, Karina and Mark Lan-
dis, Natalie and Alex Visot-
skaya; great-grandchildren,
Rachel, Ashton, Hailey, Michelle
and Victoria. Memorial contri-

Correction

The obituary of Arnold Nas-
tir, who died June 18, should
have included the name of a
surviving sister-in-law, Lor-
