Conferences

Machon L'Torah will hold an ed-
ucational lunchtime conference
at the offices of Barris, Sott,
Denn & Driker, 211 W. Fort in
Detroit, on Tuesday, July 18, at
12:15 p.m. A deli lunch will be
served followed by a discussion
on Jewish ethics lead by Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz. The pro-
gram will be hosted by Morley

Dan Weiner will host the next
educational lunchtime confer-
ence on Wednesday, July 19, at
12:15 p.m. at the offices of
Schafer & Weiner, 2050 North

Bloomfield Hills. Rabbi Ja-
cobovitz will lead a discussion ti-
tled "Proverbs - Humanity and
The World Through The Eyes Of
King Solomon." The lecture will
be followed by a deli lunch. There

CHaZaKaH
Hosts Humorist

CHaZaKaH, the Adat Shalom
Synagogue seniors, will host a
return engagement of local hu-
morist Max Sosin on Thursday, ,
July 27. The Detroit-area come-
dian will present a program ti-
tled "Leave 'Em Laughing."
The afternoon will begin at
12:30 p.m. with light refresh-
ments, including bagels and
cream cheese.
The program is open to the
community. There is a $3 charge
for CHaZaKaH members and a
$4 fee for non-members. Send

The normal deadline for
