Mr. Glantz was a rock promoter in the De- troit area, credited with giving Kiss its first big break. He also arranged for the group to play a high school homecoming in Cadillac. He booked shows for Ted Nugent, Bob Seger and Bachman Turner Overdrive. He recently completed a book titled Murder at the Grande Ballroom.. He was the beloved son of the late Sylvia Kleiman Glantz. He is survived by his father, Gabriel of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother, Leonard S. of South- field; sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Judge Jerome Blum of West Bloomfield.
